Clay McCord is a University of Tennessee grad who's spent his entire career working the land. Growing up hunting ducks across West Tennessee and Arkansas and fishing every river Nashville has to offer, he developed an instinct for the outdoors that translates directly into the spaces he builds for clients. When he's not on a job site, you'll find him chasing tarpon in Florida.
In 2009, Clay founded Nashville Land & Light to bring together two disciplines that most companies keep separate — planting design and custom exterior lighting. For years, he's been the preferred landscape partner of Baird Graham Company, one of Nashville's premier luxury custom home builders.
